![]() Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Harold discovered his talent at a very young age. He has been drawing for fun and relaxation ever since he can remember. It's a talent that runs in his family that has always given him the urge to practice and learn on his own. The realisations of Harold were used to illustrate many text books in Haiti. His pictorial work has been reproduced on lithograph, luggage tags, key chains, and magnets that have been distributed all across the North American continent Harold feels his painting reflects his native home of Haiti, which is full of folklore and hot Caribbean colors; but his perspective has been broadened by his new life in America, where he has been living for the last twenty six years. His unique style is a combination of naive paintings and Impressionist. Conscientious of the value of human race, Harold is very proud to sponsor FADIMA (research for Diabetes)the UNCF, United Negro College Fund, and many other organizations to encourage, and promote education. Harold had the opportunity to exhibit many time here in the US and abroad. He represented Haiti in 1993 at the Festival of Cultures in Atlanta.
